A beautiful new addition to southeast Kansas is at the site of the Franklin Community Center & Heritage Museum. 
The Board of Directors of FCCI is working with the Miners' Hall Museum steering committee to bring this facility to southeast Kansas.
The current facility is open and the public is invited to visit and view the mining artifacts as well as other historic items.
A grand opening will be held May, 2012 for the Miners' Hall Museum.

MINERS' HALL MUSEUM MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Miner’s Hall Museum is to preserve and present authentic materials and artifacts that document the history of coal mining and its impact on Southeast Kansas, as well as to be a vital partner in the educational and cultural life of Southeast Kansas through its collections and programs


How To Help

  • To volunteer or serve on the Board of Directors:  email minershallmuseum@yahoo.com
  • To donate artifacts: drop off at the museum in Franklin from 10-3pm on any weekday.
  • To donate photos:  drop off at the museum in Franklin from 10-3pm on any weekday. (we can make copies and return originals if requested)
  • Monetary donations (all donations are tax deductible):  Mail to Miners' Hall Museum, P. O. Box 43, Franklin, Ks. 66735 or donations can also be made through Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas  (www.southeastkansas.org)
  • Monetary donations can also be made directly on the website by credit card through paypal (www.minershallmuseum.com)
