JOSEPH F. CUKJATI DVM
Joe was born and raised in Franklin. He
was the son of Joe and Virginia Cukjati. Joe graduated from Kansas
State University as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After two years
of Air Force Duty as base veterinarian at Pope Air Force Base, Joe emigrated
to Texas where he started the Story Road Animal Hospital in 1964. Joe
practiced for 34 years and sold his businesses in 1998 and moved to Franklin
with wife Marilyn to start the Franklin Walking Horse Farm on the site of
the farm started by John and Mary Cukjati in 1912, Joe's grandfather.
At present Joe is a representative of Joint Technology, an orthotic company
headquartered in Oklahoma.
