|Memories of Methodist Church
| There was a Methodist Church on
the corner south of Karlinger’s store. We went there a few times to
summer school to learn to sew. That was a lost cause. I was so
bashful, I couldn’t get the instructions. I was so scared I wouldn’t
ask for help. Don’t remember how long we went to the classes.
Rosie went, too. We worked with some white material -- don’t remember
what we were sewing. Ma and Dad let us go so we’d learn.
