Frances Marie
(Petelinski) Buchanan
1910-2006
Frances Marie Buchanan, age 96 of
Pensacola, passed away November 21, 2006.
Mrs. Buchanan was born in Girard, KS, grew up in Robertsdale, AL and
lived most of her life in Pensacola. She was a member of Gateway Church
of Christ and formerly of West Hill Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Buchanan, Sr.; her
parents, Frank and Magdalena Petelinksi; two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by two sisters, Rosa Rhodes and Lilie Miller; two sons,
Raymond W. Buchanan, Jr. and Frank A. Buchanan; one daughter, Carolyn
Cole; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25, 2006 at noon at
Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home with Harold Mobley officiating.
Burial will be in Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2006 at
Waters & Hibbert.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Michael Ray Buchanan, Gary Buchanan,
Kevin Cole, Steven Buchanan and Kyler Cole; and son-in-law, David E.
Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders of Gateway Church of
Christ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Escambia
Christian School.
