Norine
has been a resident of Franklin since 1930.
She
graduated from Franklin Grade School in 1943. She attended Arma
High
School graduating in 1947.
Norine married Lawrence Laird in 1949. She has two sons, Mike Laird, Vice President of BRB Contractors, Topeka, Kansas and Kenneth Laird, Manager of Longhorn Steak House in Lawrence, Kansas.
Norine worked for the U. S. Census Bureau from 1965 until retiring in 1987. Norine has enjoyed living in this community all her life.
